Severe weather arrangement and make-up class
How about severe weather arrangement?
Who is eligible to arrange a make-up class?
We strongly recommend all interested students to come for an assessment test. It helps us to know students’ level and provide appropriate classes for the student.
Yes, it is.
Tuition fees are charged on a monthly basis and varied by the number of lessons (e.g. 3, 4 or 5) on the calendar. Tuition fees are also payable before the first day of each month. Payments received after the due date stated on the invoice will be subject to a 10 % administration fee.
Tuition fees are payable by cash or cheques only. Please keep all of your receipts. They are not transferrable and deductible if a student skips a lesson.
We regret that we cannot give refunds for classes already paid for except in case of closure and cessation of the course.
One month advance notice must be given if students wish to stop taking any courses at our centre.
When typhoon signal No. 3, amber or red rain warning signal is hoisted, classes will NOT be cancelled. However, parents should make their own decisions as to whether it is safe for their children to attend classes.
Classes are cancelled when typhoon signal No. 8 or above is hoisted. Parents will be informed to pick up their children as soon as possible. If typhoon signal No. 8 is lowered before 4 p.m., all classes may resume 2 hours later. At the same time, the announcement made by EDB will also be considered. Please contact us to know the latest arrangement.
When the black rain warning is issued, all classes are cancelled but will resume 2 hours later as long as it is lowered before 4 p.m. However, classes that have already started will continue. If the black rain warning is still in force at the end of the lesson, students may remain at the centre up to but no later than the end of business hours.
To avoid disruption to students’ learning, each student who miss classes due to medical reasons or school activities is entitled to a maximum of 1 make-up class within two months. Proof of absence should also be provided. However we cannot guarantee a make-up class on the same course that your child is attending. Please inform us in advance in such cases so we may make the necessary arrangements. Make-up classes have to be taken within a month from the date when class was missed. If student does not show up for the scheduled make-up class, the class cannot be rearranged.
